Full Description: 2005 Hyundai Accent sedan Very low mileage: 85,088 A Carfax report will tell you for sure, but I’m fairly sure I’m only the second owner. I purchased it from the estate of an elderly lady that only drove it to church and the grocery store each week. I mainly only drive it to work and back each day, and that's a 0.5 mile each way. The A/C is ice cold. The engine and transmission run perfectly. Very well maintained: • Regular full synthetic oil changes • New timing belt and water pump about 2 years ago • New oil pan gasket installed this weekend (4/17/21) • New transmission pan gasket installed this weekend (4/17/21) • New exhaust flex pipe about 2 years ago • New front brakes last spring (2020) • New rear brakes last fall (2020) Work needed: • Muffler pipe flange rusted. Needs cut out with a wheel grinder and reconnected with an exhaust pipe connector and clamps. (Pipe connector should run around $10 and the clamps should run around $3 each) • There is a seal leaking around the transmission. The best I can tell, it’s the input shaft seal. I can’t do the work myself, but if you can, the seal is only about $10. This will need fixed before the car can be driven further than from here to your house. • Check engine light is on. I’m pretty sure there’s a failed sensor that I haven’t had a chance to hunt down and replace. • Multiple minor rust spots on the body (see photos). The main issue is the leaking seal. If you can do that work yourself, this is a fantastic car! I’ve maintained it well. I love it and am sad to see it go, but replacing the seal is beyond my ability. Asking $2,800. Number listed can receive texts. Sorry the pictures of the rust spots are rotated. The Craigslist photo uploader is rotating them that way and I can't fix it.
