While retaining the basic external looks and characteristics of this 55 year old classic, this '65 Mustang has been custom fabricated with the addition of several pieces of GT350 drivetrain and cosmetics. Features such as a high performance 306 cid V8 motor, 4-speed manual Top Loader transmission, front disc brakes, rear seat delete, Shelby suspension and a Wimbledon White exterior paint w/Blue body stripes are reminiscent of the GT350. This Mustang was built at the San Jose assembly plant and sold new in San Diego according to the original owners manual that accompanies the car. Additionally the Shelby clone comes with extensive notes, recipients, dyno sheets, trickle charger and car cover.
