Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1973 Lincoln CONTINENTAL recalls can be found in this database. Full Description: The Lincoln Mark series has long been considered the pinnacle in a personal luxury automobile. With several generations spanning over 40 years the Lincoln Mark series is synonymous with luxury. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1973 Lincoln Mark IV for consideration. This classic cruiser comes in black paint with a new black landau top featuring Opera windows. This is a survivor car that has a patina to it. The powerful 460 engine is coupled to the bulletproof C6 transmission which delivers power through the Ford 9 inch rear end and to the tires. The Bumpers and trim are original but still hold a shine. The new top really pops against the black paint. The interior is original and in great shape with features like power locks, power windows, power seats, AM/FM radio and a Cartier clock located in the cluster. There is also a set of auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash. Some recent service includes new tires, brake hoses, fluids changed, and a new fuel pump. 1973 was the first year for a major front end rework from Lincoln. This included the 5mph bumpers, hidden headlights and a new radiator style grille. This 1973 Lincoln Mark IV has just over 75,000 miles and is a real attention grabber. Lincoln has always made a deliberate effort to keep their cars a cut above the rest and it is quite clear with this Mark IV. This is a great running and driving vehicle, whether you cruise it for a night out or a road trip youll be doing it in style.
